Since 1922
For over 100 years, the Wightman Family has grown and sold fruits and vegetables. In 1922, Albert Wightman and his wife, Laetitia, purchased the land that became Wightman Farms. Albert planted fruit trees and vegetables and drove through Morristown selling his harvests. Gradually, customers began coming to the farm. Current longtime customers remember when produce was sold from a table under a mulberry tree across from our current market and cider mill. Today, the third generation of the Wightman family, along with close friends, continues this tradition through the market
Head farmer, Adam, with over 25 years of experience, started as a teenager in the market and has since introduced new farming techniques, seeds and seedlings elevating the farm.
2025 marks the eleventh year of Wightman Farms' CSA program. Our CSA offers crops like cantaloupe, garlic scapes, kohlrabi and fingerling potatoes alongside strawberries, peaches, apples including a variety of familiar and new crops! Weekly boxes provide local produce freshly harvested for our CSA members. For more information, visit the CSA tab.
